STAR HOMES COME TO LYMM THIS EASTER

The first homes have been released at Cube Homes’ Hawthorn Grange on Star Lane in the pretty village of Lymm in Cheshire.

Buyers can now reserve the luxury four and five bedroom family homes, which will be available to move into in December 2023.

In a tucked away spot, bordered by green fields, and located just a short walk from the picturesque Bridgewater Canal, the homes at Hawthorn Grange feature impressive open plan kitchen/dining, family rooms and landscaped gardens. Some of the larger properties have home offices/playrooms and dressing areas.

Christopher Heath, Managing Director of Cube Homes, said: “There has been a huge amount of interest in the homes at Hawthorn Grange since we first announced we were building there. Interested parties will have to act quickly as this is a rare opportunity to buy a home in one of the most sought-after villages within commuting distance of Manchester and Liverpool.

“With wonderful scenery, great local eateries and boutiques and a strong community spirit it is no surprise that Lymm has appeared in the list of the best places to live in the UK.”

Within easy walking distance of the independent shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and coffee houses of Lymm, buyers will be able to soak up the traditional attractions of this chocolate box village which has its own town crier who proclaims the latest news from the foot of the historic Lymm Cross.

There’s lots to do for residents in Lymm with a wide range of community events including the Duck Race, Historic Transport Day, Lymm Festival, Dickensian Day and the Beer Festival where you can try out a range of ales from the local micro-brewery.

For those looking to enjoy a gentler pace, there is no better way to relax than watching the boats float along Bridgewater Canal, which passes through the centre of Lymm and there are lots of historic gems to explore locally including an 18th century mill. The old railway line in Lymm forms part of the Trans Pennine Trail, which provides traffic free walking and cycling options to neighbouring towns.

Sports lovers can join one of the many clubs – with cycling, football, rugby and even lawn tennis and croquet on offer in the village. Anglers can enjoy fishing at Lymm Dam and Meadow View, while golfers can play 18 holes at Lymm Golf Club.

The village is well connected to the road network with the M56 and M6 within three miles and the centre of Manchester is just over 14 miles away and the Cheshire outlet park 21 miles away. The A56 passes just south of the village with connections to Warrington and Altrincham and there is a regular local bus service.

Families will be spoilt for choice with highly rated educational facilities with four primary schools and the popular Lymm High School in the village.

The four and five bedroom luxury properties are being sold by Gascoigne Halman.  Currently available for reservation is the four bedroom Gloucester priced at £625,000 and the four bedroom Bamford, which costs £695,000.

Other house types which will be released soon include The Westminster and The Clarence.
