Cube Homes has been given final planning approval for a £7 million development of much-needed new homes in Oldham in Greater Manchester.
Located off Haven Lane in Moorside, Weaver’s Croft will offer 23 three and four bedroom detached homes on a 2.3 acre site close to Saddleworth Moors.
Named after the cotton mill which occupied land close by, the development will offer a range of unique homes with brick facades and crafted stonework, designed to blend in with the rural surroundings. Many of the homes will boast panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and a large public green area will offer a welcome space for children to play and the community to meet.
Work is expected to start on the homes later this summer with the first buyers expected to move into their new properties in Spring 2024.

Further increasing the visual appeal of the development, additional trees will be planted at Weaver’s Croft and a distinctive drystone wall entrance will be built.
